This package executes its own code at install time via require('.') and installs two dependencies pinned as '*'. That install-time execution can be abused to perform telemetry, exfiltrate data, spawn shells, or modify the system. The wildcard dependency specs raise the chance of pulling malicious dependency versions. Inspect the package's main file (index.js or resolved main) and all dependency code before installing in sensitive environments. Prefer removing or disabling postinstall hooks, pinning exact dependency versions, and auditing the resolved dependency tree.
This package contained malicious code and was removed from the registry by the npm security team. A placeholder was published to ensure users are not affected in the future.
