There are no breaking changes to the API provided by this module.

This drops pre-built binaries and testing for officially unsupported Node.js versions. Those versions have known security issues and should not be used anymore.

This also updates node-pre-gyp to a more recent version. In the past, this has caused trouble for some users, so this considered is a semver-major change as well.
