my-package

A benign marker package for authorized dependency-resolution testing.

Purpose

This package returns a fixed marker to help confirm which distribution was installed and imported in a controlled test environment.

It does not access the network, inspect environment variables, read local files, execute shell commands, or collect credentials.

Usage

import my_package

print(my_package.package_info())
print(my_package.test_marker())

Expected marker:

DEPENDENCY_CONFUSION_TEST_PACKAGE_IMPORTED

Authorized testing

Use only in environments you own or have explicit permission to assess. Prefer a private test index or a staging project. Do not upload a package using a name owned by another party or intended to impersonate an internal dependency.
