We're thrilled to announce a significant upgrade to your Socket dashboard: a completely redesigned Repositories page! We listened to your feedback and are excited to roll out a more informative, actionable, and user-friendly experience for managing your projects.
As you'll see when you log in, the new Repositories page is a major step forward from the previous simple list, especially for teams managing large organizations. Here are some of the key improvements we rolled out in the latest round of updates:
Each repository now shows a summary of its open alerts, broken down by severity. Repositories are sorted by default based on total alert count, so it’s easy to scan and spot where action is needed most.
We’ve also made a subtle but important UI change: if a repo has no critical issues, we don’t show an empty red icon. That way, your eyes are drawn only to the things that truly need attention.
Clicking into a repository now brings you to a much more organized view, split into three tabs:
No more jumping between org-wide pages and fiddling with filters—everything you need is right here.
The redesign also brings a bunch of usability wins:
Many of our customers have requested a more streamlined way to monitor security across multiple repositories. This redesign directly addresses those needs by providing clear, actionable information about your repositories' security status at a glance.
This update is part of our ongoing effort to make Socket easier to use at scale. If you manage a lot of repos, or just want to get to your next fix faster, we think you’ll love the new experience.
We're constantly improving Socket based on your feedback. If you have thoughts on these new features or suggestions for future improvements, don't hesitate to get in touch!
