Socket for ClickUp Is Now Available
Create ClickUp tasks from Socket alerts, automate ticketing with custom rules, and keep alert and task status synchronized.
- Jeppe Hasseriis

Today, we’re excited to launch Socket for ClickUp in beta. On the heels of our Socket for Asana release, the new integration gives teams another way to send Socket alerts directly into the tools they already use to manage work.
ClickUp brings tasks, docs, whiteboards, and chat into one highly customizable platform. If your organization uses it to organize work, Socket alerts can now become assigned, trackable tasks in the same Lists and workflows your teams already use.
Create tasks manually from individual alerts or use ticketing rules to route matching findings automatically with the right priority, tags, and assignee. As alert and task statuses change, the integration can keep both systems updated.
Route alerts into the way your teams already work
Engineering might organize Lists by service, while application security tracks work by team, repository, or severity. Socket works with that existing structure rather than creating another queue for people to watch.
When you create a task from an alert, you choose the connected ClickUp Workspace and the exact List that should receive it. Lists appear with their full Space / List or Space / Folder / List path, making it easier to distinguish between Lists with similar names.
You can then set the task priority, add tags, and assign it to the person responsible for investigating the finding. The task is linked to the original Socket alert, with a direct path between both systems.

Create tasks manually or automate the handoff
Not every alert needs to become a task. For findings that need individual review, anyone with the appropriate access can open the alert in Socket, click Create Ticket, and choose where it should go in ClickUp.
For findings that should consistently enter an established workflow, automated ticketing rules handle the handoff. Rules can target alerts by event, type, priority, repository, and other attributes, then create the ClickUp task in the selected Workspace and List.
Each rule can also control how the task is created:
- Set an Urgent, High, Normal, or Low priority, or use Auto to map the Socket alert priority to ClickUp automatically.
- Add ClickUp tags so teams can filter and group security work alongside their other tasks.
- Assign the task to a ClickUp user who has access to the selected List.
The task arrives in ClickUp with the context, priority, tags, and owner needed to enter the team’s normal queue.

Keep Socket alerts and ClickUp tasks in sync
The integration keeps working after the task is created. When an alert changes in Socket, the linked ClickUp task can be updated automatically. When the alert is cleared, the rule can move the task to a completed status.
Updates can flow back to Socket, too. If someone closes or completes the task in ClickUp, Socket can triage-ignore the corresponding alert. ClickUp task updates, status changes, and deletions are delivered to Socket through Workspace webhooks, so the people fixing an issue and the people monitoring alerts see the same status.
