Pick videos on YouTube channel tabs, playlists, search results and your subscriptions, tick them in a range or by filter, keep your picks, then export a yt-dlp file, copy the links or save a CSV, from a panel you can move or hide.

YouTube has no way to gather the links of many videos at once. This add-on puts a box on each video and a small panel beside them, so you can pick the videos you want and hand their links to yt-dlp, the free download tool.

  • Pick videos where you find them: on a channel's Videos, Live, Shorts and Podcasts tabs, on playlists including Watch Later and Liked videos, on search results and on your Subscriptions page.
  • Tick many at once: Select All Loaded ticks every video shown so far, a shift-click ticks every video between two boxes, and Select by Filter ticks videos by a word in the title or by length, skipping Members only and Upcoming videos if you like.
  • Keep your picks: what you tick is remembered across a channel's tabs, after a reload and in every open YouTube tab, and Selected videos lists your picks so you can remove any.
  • Export for yt-dlp: Export URL List saves a text file with one link and title per video, with the yt-dlp command to run on it written at the top. The settings page sets that command to fetch subtitles as SRT files, audio as MP3 or video as MP4. Export Whole Tab saves the page's own address instead, so yt-dlp fetches all of it.
  • Copy or save a spreadsheet: Copy URLs puts the links on your clipboard, and Export CSV saves each video's title, link, length, date and the day you ticked it.
  • A panel you can move or hide: drag it to any corner of the window, shrink it to an icon, or show and hide it with the toolbar button or Alt+Shift+Y. The toolbar button shows how many videos you have picked, and the panel moves out of the way of YouTube's small player and follows YouTube's light and dark themes.
It works on www.youtube.com only. It sends nothing anywhere and collects nothing: your picks, your settings and the panel's position stay in the add-on's storage in Firefox on your computer, and the files it exports are saved by Firefox like any other download.

Changelog

2.0.0 (2026-11-04)

  • The panel now appears on a channel's Videos, Live, Shorts and Podcasts tabs, on playlists including Watch Later and Liked videos, on search results and on your Subscriptions page, and no longer on other pages such as a Short you are watching.
  • Your picks are remembered across a channel's tabs, after a reload and in every open YouTube tab, with a Selected videos list to review them.
  • New buttons: Copy URLs, Export CSV, Export Whole Tab and Select by Filter. Shift-click ticks every video between two boxes.
  • A settings page chooses whether the yt-dlp command fetches subtitles, MP3 audio or MP4 video. The command skips videos that are live right now and skips videos it already fetched when run again.
  • Each line of the exported file carries the video's title, in the order the page shows the videos, and the file is named after the channel, playlist or search.
  • The toolbar button shows how many videos you picked and shows or hides the panel, also with Alt+Shift+Y.
  • Drag the panel to any corner, double-click the line with the count to put it back, and it moves out of the way of YouTube's small player.
  • The panel follows YouTube's light and dark themes.
  • Fixes: works with YouTube's current channel pages and with videos that load as you scroll; YouTube's video preview no longer covers a box in search results; the export message stays in the panel for four seconds; the file's date follows your time zone; long channel names are shortened correctly; screen readers name every box and button; Select by Filter no longer mistakes a New label for Upcoming; Watch Later shows its boxes when you are signed in.
1.0.2 (2026-02-18)
  • The yt-dlp commands in the exported file now start each downloaded file's name with the channel's name.
1.0.1 (2026-02-18)
  • The exported file picks up the channel's name more reliably for its file name and its first lines.
1.0 (2026-02-18)
  • First release: tick videos on a YouTube channel page and export their links as a file for yt-dlp.
