Every prompt (its size) and every shell command (truncated) is appended to a capped per-session log. Nothing leaves the machine. The log holds the 200 most recent entries; older ones fall off.
Session totals (tokens, steps, spend), token cache bar, pending and permission counts, and model info, all derived live from host data.
recent({ limit }) returns the tail of the activity log for dashboards. Never throws.
