This component adds a Bluetooth Scanning source node to OpenHPS to scan for BLE beacons or other BLE objects. The component uses a capacitor plugin to scan for BLE beacons on Android, iOS and the Web.

Getting Started

If you have npm installed, start using @openhps/capacitor-bluetooth with the following command.

npm install @openhps/capacitor-bluetooth --save

Usage

  1. Install @capacitor-community/bluetooth-le (https://github.com/capacitor-community/bluetooth-le)

The framework is open source and is mainly developed by PhD Student Maxim Van de Wynckel as part of his research towards Hybrid Positioning and Implicit Human-Computer Interaction under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Beat Signer.
