SCION Components | @scion/components

The SCION Components is a collection of Angular components and directives primarily for use in SCION libraries such as @scion/workbench and @scion/microfrontend-platform. This library is not a comprehensive component library as its focus is on SCION requirements.


  • Viewport
    Provides a viewport component with scrollbars that sit on top of the viewport client.

  • Dimension
    Provides a set of tools for observing the size and position of an element.

  • Sashbox
    Provides a sashbox component for splitting content into multiple parts, which the user can resize by moving the splitter between the parts.

  • Splitter
    Provides a visual element that allows the user to control the size of elements next to it.

  • Throbber
    Provides an animated graphical control, commonly called a spinner, to indicate the execution of an action. You can choose between different presentations: ellipsis, ripple, roller, spinner.


This module follows the versioning of the Angular project, with major versions being released at the same time as major versions of the Angular framework.

The sources for this package are in SCION Toolkit repo. Please file issues and pull requests against that repo.
