arXiv Is Rate Limiting Authors Following a Flood of AI Slop Submissions
arXiv now limits authors to two submissions a month as AI slop overwhelms moderators, delays good papers, and sparks debate over applying the limit to everyone.

serve gives anything on your machine a public HTTPS link. Say "serve me this" to your AI agent and get a URL back — one you can text to a friend, drop into a Slack thread, or put on a slide. It works the same whether you built a Next.js app or asked for a sales deck.
Every link lives in one of two places, and you move between them with a sentence:
serve is a hosted service: create an account, log in once, and your links live
at *.servelink.cc. Details at servelink.cc.
npm i -g @servelink/serve
# or, without a global install:
npx @servelink/serve
serve login # authorize this device (prints a dashboard URL + code)
serve # run the MCP server for AI coding agents
serve mcp # explicit MCP form
The primary interface is MCP. With serve registered in your AI coding
agent, the agent can publish a file, a directory, or an already-running dev
server and hand back a public HTTPS URL. In any client that reads mcpServers:
{ "mcpServers": { "serve": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@servelink/serve"] } } }
A thin launcher for the native serve binary. The binary ships in a
per-platform package (@servelink/serve-darwin-arm64, -darwin-x64,
-linux-arm64, -linux-x64, -win32-x64) installed as an
optionalDependency, so npm picks the one matching your OS and architecture.
There is no postinstall and nothing is downloaded at install time, so npm never
runs or prompts about lifecycle scripts, and the binary that runs is exactly the
CI-published release artifact — no Go code is compiled or fetched here.
If npm has no package for your platform, install from the Homebrew tap or take a release archive from serve-dist.
