Tyler Tech ESLint Plugin for Angular

An ESLint plugin with the Tyler Tech recommended rules and configurations for Angular projects. This plugin builds on top of the recommended Angular ESLint rules, providing rules and configurations tailored to the standards and best practices of Tyler Technologies.

Installation

To install the package, run the following command:

npm install -D @tylertech-eslint/eslint-plugin-angular

This package builds on the angular-eslint project, and includes the recommended rules for Angular projects.

Requirements

• ESLint: v10 or above
• Node.js: v20.19.0+, v22.13.0+, or v24+ (matching ESLint 10's supported runtimes)
• angular-eslint: v21.4.0+ or v22.0.0+ — declared as a peer dependency so you install the version matching your Angular major (Angular 21 → angular-eslint@21, Angular 22 → angular-eslint@22).

Install angular-eslint alongside this plugin, e.g.:

npm install -D @tylertech-eslint/eslint-plugin-angular angular-eslint@22

Usage

This package uses the ESLint flat config format only, and is compatible with ESLint v10 and above.

Note: This plugin supports Angular v21 and v22 (via the angular-eslint version you install).

To use it, set up your ESLint config file as follows:

• Update your eslint.config.js config file (or create it if it doesn't already exist) in the root of your project.
• Import the Tyler Tech ESLint plugin for Angular and the Angular template config.
• Specify the files to which the TypeScript rules should apply, and optionally add any custom rules or overrides.
• Specify the files to which the HTML rules should apply for the Angular templates, and optionally add any custom rules or overrides.
• Optionally, you can also specify files or directories to ignore.
