Complex Analysis

Complex analysis is the interesting part of modern mathematics which comes into existence while calculating the square root of -1. Square root of -1 is denoted by i, where i2 = -1.

Each complex number is denoted as A+Bi, where A is said to be the Real part and B is the Imaginary part.

In JavaScript, we can represent a complex number as an object having two properties- real and imaginary. The real property, carrying default value 0, denotes the real part of the complex number and the imaginary property, having value 0, denotes the imaginary part.

All utility methods to analyze the complex number come under the prototype chain of the object to separate theme from the representation.

When the constructor of the object is invoked with no parameter, it returns an object where each property has 0 as its value. If parameters are passed while invoking, it constructs the object and returns it accordingly. The first parameter denotes the real part and the second parameter being the imaginary part.
