The templateData.metaTagValue function returns the content of requested meta tag.

For example:

templateData.metaTagValue(document, 'jimdo.version')

templateData.hasMetaTag(dom, name)

The templateData.hasMetaTag function returns true if requested meta tag exists.

For example:
