NIST has failed to meet its self-imposed deadline of clearing the NVD's backlog by the end of the fiscal year. Meanwhile, CVE's awaiting analysis have increased by 33% since June.

There are 4 types of values:

values with specified key names. Each option will parsed with appropriate parser function.
Any unknown value passed by user will be treated as an error.map(valueParser, defaultValue)
