Installation

Follow the community nodes installation guide in the n8n docs.

In n8n: Settings → Community Nodes → Install and enter:

Operations

Run Scraper — runs the Reddit Sentiment Scraper Actor and returns one item per post or comment, including a sentiment score for each piece of text.

Credentials

This node runs the Actor on Apify infrastructure billed to your own Apify account, so you need an Apify API token.

Create a free account at apify.com.
Copy your API token from Settings → Integrations (or use OAuth2).
In n8n, create an Apify API credential and paste your token.

You only pay Apify's standard pay-per-result price for the runs you trigger — there is no extra charge for using this node.

Usage

Add the Apify Reddit Sentiment Scraper node to your workflow.
Select your Apify credential.
Enter the subreddit, search term or Reddit URL, choose a sort order (hot / new / top / rising) and the max number of results.
Execute. Each post or comment is returned as a separate item with its sentiment score — pipe it straight into Google Sheets, a dashboard, a database, or an AI agent.

This node is also usable as a tool by n8n AI Agents, so an agent can pull live Reddit discussion and sentiment on demand.
