Oakrey.Applications.UsbNotifying

The "UsbNotifying" project is a .NET 8 library designed to monitor USB device events. It provides a service for detecting when USB devices are connected or disconnected, enabling applications to respond to these events in real-time.

Features

USB Event Monitoring:

UsbNotifyingService listens for USB device arrival and removal events. Uses DeviceNotificationListener to monitor USB device changes.

Event Broadcasting:

Implements IUsbNotifyingService as an observable, allowing subscribers to receive USB event notifications.

Device Information:

Provides detailed information about connected or removed devices, including VID, PID, and serial number.

Logging:

Integrated with Oakrey.Log for logging USB device events.

Reactive Programming:

Uses ReplaySubject to broadcast USB events to multiple observers.

Installation

You can install the package via NuGet Package Manager, Package Manager Console or the .NET CLI.

NuGet Package Manager

• Open your project in Visual Studio.
• Navigate to Tools > NuGet Package Manager > Manage NuGet Packages for Solution....
• Search for Oakrey.Applications.UsbNotifying and click Install.
