Advanced tools
This is a fork which backports several commits from future versions of Prettier to 2.2.1. This unlocks support for some features before we reformat our entire codebase according to some of the other changes made from 2.3.0 onwards (e.g. algorithm change when formatting assignments). This fork only backports commits made to Prettier. It should always be safe to migrate from this fork to the latest/future version of Prettier instead.

Prettier is an opinionated code formatter. It enforces a consistent style by parsing your code and re-printing it with its own rules that take the maximum line length into account, wrapping code when necessary.
foo(reallyLongArg(), omgSoManyParameters(), IShouldRefactorThis(), isThereSeriouslyAnotherOne());
foo(
reallyLongArg(),
omgSoManyParameters(),
IShouldRefactorThis(),
isThereSeriouslyAnotherOne()
);
Prettier can be run in your editor on-save, in a pre-commit hook, or in CI environments to ensure your codebase has a consistent style without devs ever having to post a nit-picky comment on a code review ever again!
