If accordion is true, only one panel can be open. Opening another panel will cause the previously opened panel to close. activeKey should be an string, if passing an array (the first item in the array will be used).

If key is not provided, the panel's index will be used instead.
By default, Collapse will listen onKeyDown(<3.7.0 onKeyPress) event with enter key to toggle panel's active state when collapsible is not disabled. If you want to disable this behavior, you can prevent the event from bubbling like this:
const App = () => {
const items: CollapseProps['items'] = [
{
label: <input onKeyDown={(e) => e.stopPropagation()} />,
children: 'content',
},
{
label: (
<div onKeyDown={(e) => e.stopPropagation()}>
<CustomComponent />
</div>
),
children: 'content',
},
{
label: 'title 2',
children: 'content 2',
collapsible: 'disabled',
},
{
label: 'title 3',
children: 'content 3',
onItemClick: console.log,
},
];
return <Collapse items={items} />;
};
npm install
npm start
npm test
npm test -- --coverage
rc-collapse is released under the MIT license.
A closely related React collapse component with panel and accordion features. It has a similar component model and is often used in the same ecosystem; check its version and API before substituting it.
Ant Design is a full React UI library whose `Collapse` component offers expandable panels and accordion behavior. It provides a more fully styled, design-system-oriented component, while @rc-component/collapse is a lower-level component.
Material UI provides `Accordion` and related components for expandable content. It integrates with Material Design styling and theming, unlike the more minimal, lower-level approach of @rc-component/collapse.
Radix UI provides an accessible, unstyled accordion primitive with single- and multiple-open modes. It offers a headless, accessibility-focused API, whereas @rc-component/collapse provides its own collapse and panel component model.
A lightweight hook for building custom collapsible elements. It gives developers control over their markup and styling, but does not provide the same ready-made panel grouping and accordion component structure.
