Cordial
My personal collection of gulp workflows, curated here for easy sharing between projects.
:nut_and_bolt: Work in Progress:nut_and_bolt:
:warning: Probably not for your production use yet...
Part of my system for creating and authoring on OS X and seamlessly deploying to Linux.
Basically uses CoffeeScript, xo-barista, gulp, git, git-flow-avh, guppy, shelljs, xo, ava and a handful of gulp plugins to provide a single build system I can deploy across projects without thinking about it.
Requirements
- An up to date
git
. Apple's default in OS X 10.11 is fine, or brew install git
brew install git-flow-avh
. Peter Van Der Does' fork of git flow.
Prerequisites
Before installing, make sure that that your destination repository has been git-flow enabled...
> git flow init --defaults
You don't need to use the default branch names, but unless you have particularly complex naming requirements, there's not much reason not to.
Niceties
Tower 2 Powerhouse Git GUI for OS X
(I moved to this from Github desktop and never looked back from the moment I first launched it).
Supports git-flow directly, including hooks.
