RubyGems.org Adds New Maintainer Role
RubyGems.org has added a new "maintainer" role that allows for publishing new versions of gems. This new permission type is aimed at improving security for gem owners and the service overall.
npm install expire
Expire is a convenient little utility for abstracting some of the work you might do to afford robust cache strings.
var expire = require('expire')
var express = require('express')
var app = express.createServer()
var fs = require('fs')
var file = fs.readFileSync('somn.jpg')
app.get('*', function(req, res) {
res.headers = expires.setExpiration('two days')
// or expires.setExpiration(res.headers, 'two days')
res.end(file)
})
Converts a string to number of seconds. All of the following are valid strings:
one minute
9 days
16 years and one day
one hour and 1 minute and twenty seconds
Automatically converts string to number of seconds and decorates the provided object with valid expires
and cache-control
headers.
expire.setExpiration(res.headers, 'two days')
res.headers = setExpiration('two days')
This module is used internally by Lactate
