grunt-modularize Build Status: Linux

Provides AMD, CommonJS and ES6 wrapping for traditional JavaScript files.

Getting Started

This plugin requires Grunt ~0.4.0

If you haven't used Grunt before, be sure to check out the Getting Started guide, as it explains how to create a Gruntfile as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:

npm install grunt-modularize --save-dev

Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:

grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-modularize');

Modularize task

Run this task with the grunt modularize command.

Task targets and options may be specified according to the grunt Configuring tasks guide.

Usage

grunt.initConfig({
	modularize: {
		options: {
			deps: [
			  'riot', // path and variable name are the same
			  {'jquery': '$'},
			  {'underscore': '_'},
			  {'/path/to/custom/module': 'CustomModule'}
			],
			exports: 'MyObject'
		},
		dist: {
			files: {
				'dist/app.js': 'src/app.js'
			}
		}
	}
});

grunt.registerTask('default', ['modularize']);

Options

See the modularize options, except for input which is handled for you.
