Usage

Install
npm install gulp-bump --save

Example

var gulp = require('gulp');
var bump = require('gulp-bump');

gulp.task('bump', function(){

  .pipe(gulp.dest('./'));
});


// Defined method of updating:
// Semantic

Options

options.type

What type of version to bump to.

Type: `String`
Default: `patch`

###Versioning Used: Semantic

String, lowercase

  • MAJOR ("major") version when you make incompatible API changes
  • MINOR ("minor") version when you add functionality in a backwards-compatible manner
  • PATCH ("patch") version when you make backwards-compatible bug fixes.
