Gitodo
Gitodo is a small program that lets you write quick developer notes to yourself.
Installation
Install with:
$ gem install gitodo
Usage
$ gitodo "Don't forget to foo the baz before sending out a code review"
Todo added. There are 3 todos on branch `master`
$ gitodo "Also should baz the ding"
Todo added. There are 4 todos on branch `master`
$ gitodo --list
There are 4 todos on branch `master`
[1] Fix one of the things
[2] Fix the other of the things

$ gitodo --done 1 3

Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake test
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
