Data Theft Repackaged: A Case Study in Malicious Wrapper Packages on npm
The Socket Research Team breaks down a malicious wrapper package that uses obfuscation to harvest credentials and exfiltrate sensitive data.
Lua::Literal provides a class which converts literals written in Lua's syntax to Ruby.
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'lua-literal'
And then execute:
$ bundle install
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install lua-literal
require 'lua/literal/converter'
converter = Lua::Literal::Converter.new

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb

, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
