radiowaves
Transmitts notifications in Rails to a websocket. Born as a supporting gem for "Rails panel" Chrome
extension.
Installation
Add radiowaves gem to development group in Gemfile:
group :development do
gem 'radiowaves'
end
And reboot server.
WebSocket server will start in a seperated thread during Rails boot
and Rails Notifications will be published on ws://localhost:12017
Also, response header will contain information about server URI under
X-Radiowaves-Uri so a client can "discover" radiowaves server by
inspecting header.
Tested to work with: pow and WEBrick.
