SiteChecker

This is just a simple gem to check HTTP status of a webpage and response time of the site.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'site-checker'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install site-checker

Usage

In IRB console,

2.3.1 :001 > require 'site_checker'
=> true 
2.3.1 :002 > SiteChecker.status('https://autoattend.com')
=> 200 

Using the executable

bundle exec site status [WEBSITE]

Sample input

bundle exec site status https://autoattend.com

Sample output

Website - https://autoattend.com
Status - 200 OK
Response time - 2.388711 seconds
