Import the registration of <uui-checkbox> via:
import '@umbraco-ui/uui-checkbox/lib';
When looking to leverage the UUICheckboxElement base class as a type and/or for extension purposes, do so via:
import { UUICheckboxElement } from '@umbraco-ui/uui-checkbox/lib/uui-checkbox.element';
