Quasar RAT Disguised as an npm Package for Detecting Vulnerabilities in Ethereum Smart Contracts
Socket researchers uncover a malicious npm package posing as a tool for detecting vulnerabilities in Etherium smart contracts.
@vscode-alt/monaco-editor-webpack-plugin
Advanced tools
A plugin to simplify loading the Monaco Editor with webpack.
npm install @vscode-alt/monaco-editor-webpack-plugin
webpack.config.js
:const MonacoWebpackPlugin = require('@vscode-alt/monaco-editor-webpack-plugin');
const path = require('path');
module.exports = {
entry: './index.js',
output: {
path: path.resolve(__dirname, 'dist'),
filename: 'app.js'
},
module: {
rules: [{
test: /\.css$/,
use: ['style-loader', 'css-loader']
}, {
test: /\.ttf$/,
use: ['file-loader']
}]
},
plugins: [
new MonacoWebpackPlugin()
]
};
index.js
:import * as monaco from '@vscode-alt/monaco-editor'
// or import * as monaco from '@vscode-alt/monaco-editor/esm/vs/editor/editor.api';
// if shipping only a subset of the features & languages is desired
monaco.editor.create(document.getElementById('container'), {
value: 'console.log("Hello, world")',
language: 'javascript'
});
Options can be passed in to MonacoWebpackPlugin
. They can be used to generate a smaller editor bundle by selecting only certain languages or only certain editor features:
filename
(string
) - custom filename template for worker scripts, respects the same options as loader-utils' interpolateName. Useful for adding content-based hashes so that files can be served with long-lived caching headers.
'[name].worker.js'
.publicPath
(string
) - custom public path for worker scripts, overrides the public path from which files generated by this plugin will be served. This wins out over Webpack's dynamic runtime path and can be useful to avoid attempting to load workers cross-origin when using a CDN for other static resources. Use e.g. '/' if you want to load your resources from the current origin..
''
.languages
(string[]
) - include only a subset of the languages supported.
['abap', 'apex', 'azcli', 'bat', 'cameligo', 'clojure', 'coffee', 'cpp', 'csharp', 'csp', 'css', 'dart', 'dockerfile', 'fsharp', 'go', 'graphql', 'handlebars', 'hcl', 'html', 'ini', 'java', 'javascript', 'json', 'julia', 'kotlin', 'less', 'lexon', 'lua', 'markdown', 'mips', 'msdax', 'mysql', 'objective-c', 'pascal', 'pascaligo', 'perl', 'pgsql', 'php', 'postiats', 'powerquery', 'powershell', 'pug', 'python', 'r', 'razor', 'redis', 'redshift', 'restructuredtext', 'ruby', 'rust', 'sb', 'scala', 'scheme', 'scss', 'shell', 'solidity', 'sophia', 'sql', 'st', 'swift', 'systemverilog', 'tcl', 'twig', 'typescript', 'vb', 'xml', 'yaml']
.Some languages share the same web worker. If one of the following languages is included, you must also include the language responsible for instantiating their shared worker:
Language | Instantiator |
---|---|
javascript | typescript |
handlebars | html |
scss, less | css |
features
(string[]
) - include only a subset of the editor features.
['accessibilityHelp', 'anchorSelect', 'bracketMatching', 'caretOperations', 'clipboard', 'codeAction', 'codelens', 'colorDetector', 'comment', 'contextmenu', 'coreCommands', 'cursorUndo', 'dnd', 'find', 'folding', 'fontZoom', 'format', 'gotoError', 'gotoLine', 'gotoSymbol', 'hover', 'iPadShowKeyboard', 'inPlaceReplace', 'indentation', 'inspectTokens', 'linesOperations', 'links', 'multicursor', 'onTypeRename', 'parameterHints', 'quickCommand', 'quickHelp', 'quickOutline', 'referenceSearch', 'rename', 'smartSelect', 'snippets', 'suggest', 'toggleHighContrast', 'toggleTabFocusMode', 'transpose', 'unusualLineTerminators', 'viewportSemanticTokens', 'wordHighlighter', 'wordOperations', 'wordPartOperations']
