has-only

Tells if the current Mocha execution is running only some tests that use .only

Install

Requires Node version 6 or above.

Use

hasOnly

Pass current context or test. Returns true or false.

const {hasOnly} = require('has-only')
beforeEach(function () {
  if (hasOnly(this)) {
    // a test is using it.only
    // or maybe a suite is using describe.only
    // to exclude other tests
  }
})

hasFailed

Pass current context or test. Returns true if some test or hook ran and failed.

const {hasFailed} = require('has-only')
after(function () {
  if (hasFailed(this)) {
    // some test or hook (like before, beforeEach, afterEach, after)
    // has failed
  }
})
