rest-promise was a fork of rets-client that was begun with the intent of cleaning up the developer interface and improving performance. However, this fork has been deprecated, as active development of a promise and stream-based API has moved to the original repo.
Please use rets-client latest, as it is better than this version in correctness, features, and performance.
