vlt Launches "reproduce": A New Tool Challenging the Limits of Package Provenance
vlt's new "reproduce" tool verifies npm packages against their source code, outperforming traditional provenance adoption in the JavaScript ecosystem.

// Create the docroot. This is where all of your apps will go.
$ mkdir -p /path/to/your/docroot
// Clone the shnapps repo.
$ git clone git@github.com:dachev/shnapps.git
$ cd shnapps
// Install dependancies.
$ npm install .
// Create the config file.
$ cp config.txt.js config.js
// Edit configuration. Make sure to set docroot to the path from step 1.
$ edit config.js
// Run
$ ./www.js -e development
Open your browser and load http://127.0.0.1:YOUR_PORT. You should see a default page. Now you can install some example apps:
// Get the code
$ cd /path/to/your/docroot
$ git clone git@github.com:dachev/shnapps-wikidrill.git
$ cd shnapps-wikidrill
// Install dependancies.
$ npm install .
When you are done. Restart the server and go to http://127.0.0.1:YOUR_PORT. You should see a link to the wikidrill app.
