What is DopamineKit?

DopamineKit provides wrappers for accessing the DopamineAPI and expressive UI reinforcements for your app.

Installation

1. Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

   gem 'dopaminekit', '~> 4.0.0'
   

2. And then in terminal execute:

   $ bundle install
   

Or

1. Install it into the ruby environment yourself as:

   $ gem install dopaminekit
   

Usage

1. First, make sure you have received your API key and other credentials, which are automatically generated from the Dopamine Developer Dashboard.

2. Import DopamineKit

require 'dopaminekit'

• Note: You may need to use require 'rubygems' as well

1. Create a DopamineKit object with your credentials passed in as Strings

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake test to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
