Conventions

  • Try to write components in stateless way ( History, Advantages )

  • Observe build size after any changes (try to not exceed 3MB in total)

  • Not reference whole library but only needed parts

import { AppBar } from 'material-ui' //Wrong
import AppBar from 'material-ui/AppBar' //Correct
  • Testing: (refer: enzyme)

    • Always begin with shallow
    • If componentDidMount or componentDidUpdate should be tested, use mount
    • If you want to test component lifecycle and children behavior, use mount
    • If you want to test children rendering with less overhead than mount and you are not interested in lifecycle methods, use render

Todo

  • Move each local storage element to its own service (theme key need to represent in theme service)
